Why It’s Hard to Carry On

Just before a
giant red
star shrinks
into a
white dwarf &
erupts into
a quasar
the atoms
at its
core are
so compressed
by gravity
there is
no space
left between
them &
they shatter
into trillions
of neutrinos.

That’s
how my
head feels
most of
the time.
