You’re never
who you
think you
are but
sometimes you’re
who you
never wanted
to be
& only
by pure
chance are
you ever
either of
these to
someone else.

Usually to
someone else
you’re someone
you never
dreamed of,
as they
are to you.

Two ships
gliding past
each other
in the
silent
night fog.
