Digital time.

A circular
universe.

The biological
clock.

Memory,
time going
backwards.

Imagination,
a world
without time.

Distress
anxiety
worry –
misshapen time.

Solitude,
time
in a
small cage.

Model Ts
turbo jets
rockets
to the
moon to
Jupiter &
Mars to
worlds beyond
where time
twists &
turns like
a basket
of snakes.

Snake charmers
in India
in North
Carolina
in a
brightly-lit
Grange Hall.

Scorpions &
centipedes
crawling
up your
leg time
to take
action.

The time
of your
life the
time we
tore the
town apart
the four
minute mile.

Time’s up
what’s
your answer?

Time to
throw in
the towel.

Poltergeists
giving dictation
I write
it all
down
like a
trained raccoon.

It adds
up in
the long
run they
tell me
there’ll be
a judgement
day in
the by
& by
be patient
do your time.
