Life’s Sequels
I’ve written six sequels to each of my four novels. That’s 24 additional novels. They’re in manuscript and are kept in a vault in a Seattle bank. After my death they will be published by Random House, four novels a year, one for each original novel, for six consecutive years.
Anyone reading this who can guess the titles of the sequels to any of these novels and submits their correct guesses to Random House will be given the original manuscript, autographed, and be granted a full-scholarship to the Iowa Writers’ Workshop.
Guesses submitted before my body has been cremated and my ashes strewn will be disqualified.
