The Source of All Things
All things are different, all things are the same, and all things the same and different emanate from the source of difference and sameness, which means there’s something beyond sameness and difference that triggers the dualistic mind and gives rise to hatred and love.
Personally I feel better being loved than hated, loving than hating, and I use all the delusion I can lay my hands on to get as much of a love hit as I can, which is why I’m doing ten years in a Mississippi prison for possession of a pound of high-grade pot on a traffic stop on my way north from New Orleans.
All this business about sameness and difference came to me lying on my bunk last night with my hands behind my head, listening to inmates up and down the tier banging metal objects between the bars of their cells.
