virtual after all

Virtual After All

I severed
all digital
connections
in my
life &
the world
froze
in place.

So, it
was virtual
after all.

Keeping a Secret

A secret
can be
kept only
if you
keep it
from yourself.

jumping off the high board

Jumping Off the High Board

Have no
regrets.

Stick to
the
Master Plan.

Withdraw at
every opportune
moment.

Slip beyond
the facade.

You’ve got
your instructions,
you were
born with
them.

What are
you refusing
to comply
with?

What are
you being
swayed by?

What do
you think
can be
gained?

Don’t stand
there sniveling
on the
porch good
God man
go inside
bolt the
door close
the blinds.

Turn the
lights off
hold
your breath.

Your check
list has
been altered
your false
hopes bashed
to smithereens
ground to
dust rendered
coy.

What in
the world
are you
thinking,
still walking
around with
clothes on?

Can’t you
sense the
great reckoning?

We’ve been
much kinder
than you
deserve but
there’s a
price
to pay.

Close your
eyes.

Take one
step forward.

dangerous thoughts

Dangerous Thoughts

The most
dangerous thoughts
I ever
had were
not that
dangerous.

It’s what
they were
before they
became thoughts
that was
dangerous.
