self that
blows its
top &
goes rampaging
thru the
streets slaughtering
one self
after another
self-examining
self, fingers
lingering
too long
on the
no-no places,
the well-
integrated self
that can’t
tell its
toes from
its lips
the self-
made self
looking at
itself
in a
full length
mirror, the
self in
the mirror,
smiling shyly.
