unveiled truth

Unveiled Truth

I may
have lied
in the
past but
mostly &
unwittingly
to myself.

Misshapen
convoluted
lies dressed
up like
a sheep
herder’s daughter,
full-breasted
with flowers
in their
flaxen
hair their
faithful sheep
dogs driving
off
unwanted
consequences.

Out of
the boneyard
of lies
the dark
spirit rises
up &
eats the
heart
of truth.
